The Web Portal will update automatically.
On the 2024 browser-based Scale Ticketing Application, you will need UI Version 5.0.0 or higher and Server Version 5.0.0 or higher to use the new features. If your application does not apply these updates automatically, you can update it manually from the Server Settings screen.
Over the weekend, we launched a major update to Fast-Weigh enabling our new Repricing and Pending Ticket features, along with other enhancements. All changes will be reflected in the latest generation Fast-Weigh Scale Ticketing application (browser-based), as well as on the Web Portal. Users of the old Windows 10 ticketing application will not be affected by these changes; however, we highly recommend scheduling your company for an update to the newer scale software when possible so you can take advantage of the latest and greatest features!
Note: On the 2024 browser-based Scale Ticketing Application, you will need to be running UI Version 5.0.0 or higher and Server Version 5.0.0 or higher to use these features.
Read on for details.
The new Repricing feature allows you to adjust pricing for an individual ticket that has not yet been billed, at any time. This change means that pricing can now be controlled at the ticket level, allowing for more pricing flexibility and customization than ever.
Individual tickets can now be repriced on the Billing Screen as well as the Ticket Query table.
Note: Users of the old Windows 10 ticketing application will not be affected by these changes; they only apply to the current generation browser-based ticketing app. However, we highly recommend scheduling your company for an update to the newer scale software when possible so you can take advantage of the latest and greatest features!
The Pending Tickets feature allows users to begin the ticket creation process and then save a pending or "stashed" version of that ticket without finalizing. Later, users can open the pending ticket once again to make any changes and create the finalized ticket for printing and submission to the cloud. (Example: If you wish to open a pending ticket, capture the gross weight of a truck, and then have the driver pull off the scale before determining what the Ship-To or Product should be and add those details later.)
Create a pending ticket by selecting the Truck as normal and indicating the direction of the ticket (Inbound or Outbound).
Once these items are selected, a new "Stash Ticket" button will appear. Click this button to stash the pending ticket for future edits. You may also use the ALT + S hotkey to stash the ticket.
All pending tickets are stored in the new Pending Sidebar:
Note: You may create multiple Pending Tickets for the same Truck.
Select any pending ticket from the Pending Sidebar shown above. Make changes as needed.
When done, you may Stash the ticket again, or Finalize it to print the ticket and send a copy to the cloud.
NOTE: Tare Weights are now recorded and saved to the Truck Record when Inbound tickets are finalized. You may prevent this by going to Settings > Overrides, and enabling the Prevent Saving Tare on Inbound setting.
If the user has the In-Yard module, creating a Pending ticket also marks a truck as being in the yard. On the Web Portal, a corresponding record is created with the truck under the In-Yard section.
Kiosk mode has also had several updates to accommodate Pending tickets. The Check-In section of the Kiosk now creates Pending tickets, while the Ticketing section finalizes a Pending ticket (or will create a normal ticket, if no Pending ticket was made prior).
NOTE: Since Pending tickets are now created under Check-In, any two-step Inbound tickets must start by checking the truck into the yard first to create a Pending Inbound ticket with the captured gross weight.
Pending Tickets can be turned off in the Check-In Settings by disallowing Stashing Tickets.
You can now use table headers to filter information within columns in all grids and tables.
