Fast-Weigh Web Portal Update - April 2025

Update Notes

The Fast-Weigh Web Portal will update automatically. No user input required.

 

Over the weekend, we published a new update to the Fast-Weigh Web Portal. This release includes key feature enhancements and sets the stage for our upcoming update to the Desktop Scale Ticketing app, which will support our new No-Order Ticketing functionality and additional improvements. That update is expected to launch in about a week. We’ll send a separate update once it’s ready.

 


Major Feature Highlights


 

No-Order Ticketing
  • You can now create and edit tickets without needing to link them to an order. On the Web Portal, the Ticket Entry, Ticket Edit, Bulk Edit, Import, and Query screens all support this change.
    This update is coming to the Desktop Scale Ticketing application in the next week or two!
New Sent Status for Emailed Invoices
  • Invoices now include an Email Status field, showing one of three states: Pending, Sent, or Failed.

New Customer Contacts Button
  • Added a quick-access button to view and edit customer contact information.
Freight Matrix Change
  • You asked, and we delivered. Haul Zones have been added to the Freight Matrix.

 


Additional Enhancements


 

Ticketing Enhancements
  • Ticket creation is now audited in the system for added visibility.
  • Changing a ticket’s date now properly updates the field. Other time fields remain unchanged.
  • The Bulk Edit screen now displays the newest tickets first, matching the behavior of the Ticket Query screen.
Customers & Sales
  • Sales users can now view and edit customer contact information.
  • The main customer grid now displays the assigned salesperson’s name.
  • Inactive salespeople will no longer appear as blank entries in dropdown menus.
Ordering & Pricing
  • Creating a new OrderProduct from a pricing template now correctly fills in the Description field.
  • Fixed issue where selecting an order before a customer on the ticket screen failed to populate the related fields.
Other Updates
  • Fixed a Bulk Truck Edit error that affected users with large truck lists.
  • Data Entry users now have access to the Pay To Assignment screen.
  • QuickBooks Online users can now manually add customers.
  • A new custom billing export format is available for QuickBooks Online customers.
