Fast-Weigh Web Portal Update
Adding Multiple Products to Orders Simultaneously
To complete our roll-out of the new Pricing Templates feature released in May, we have changed the way products can be assigned to an order. The Add All Products option has been replaced with a new Add Multiple Products button. This new feature provides greater granularity and order customization when setting up products.
Though this change removes the ability to add all products to an order simultaneously in one step, the user will still be able to add an unlimited number of products to an order by selecting them from a list.
Why this change? In our experience, the "Add All Products" option created database inefficiencies and slowed sync times for our customers. Through our analysis, it was discovered that roughly 90% of products set up on orders in the Fast-Weigh database were never utilized. Therefore, we created a new capability on Open Orders to allow for products to be dynamically added to an order when ticketing, eliminating the need for the "Add All Products" feature.
Step-by-Step review of how to manage order pricing with the new Pricing Templates:
Create a new Open Order and assign the Pricing Template to the order
No need to add products to the order unless you wish to override the Pricing Template
Products on that Template can now be added to the Order from the Desktop Ticketing Application as needed

Other Updates
The Delivery Info fields on Orders, Quotes, and Requests now allow unlimited text
Fixed issue with occasional error message when updating tare weights on trucks
Fixed issue with hauler pay not always calculating adjustments correctly
Fixed various issues with menu items not being available to certain user roles
Fixed issue with QuickBooks Online interface not returning all QuickBooks customers
Fixed issue when using the Map Location button on an order which was inadvertently including erroneous characters from the New Address fields
