June 2020 Software Update for the Fast-Weigh Web Portal

This evening, we are rolling out an update to the Fast-Weigh Web Portal. Details below!

 

Web Portal Update Details

 

1. NEW - Customer Import Feature

We now have a new method for adding and updating Customers in Fast-Weigh using file based imports.

  • On the Web Portal, navigate to Resources >> Customers
  • Click on the + External Customers button
  • Upload your customer import file. Sample Import File
  • Then edit the parameters below the table and click Save

2. NEW TLS 1.2 Support for Spectrum Data Exchange

We have updated our support for Spectrum Data Exchange to support TLS 1.2 to provide more secure data communications between Fast-Weigh and Spectrum, as is now required by Viewpoint Version 2020 R1.


Other Updates
  • Support for the Product Pricing Description field has been added to the Product dropdown on both the Ticket Entry screen and Ticket Bulk Edit.
  • To provide more consistency with other modules, the Save & Close button on the Order Setup screen has been relabeled with "Close"
  • Fixed issue regarding SMS Text Notifications for clients using set to use metric
