This week, we are rolling out a new Fast-Weigh software update that includes a number of new features and enhancements. The Web Portal update will go into effect immediately, while the Fast-Weigh Desktop Ticketing app will be rolled out in the next week.

1. NEW - Update to Reports and the Reporting Module

We've made a number of changes to Reports:

• Multiple reports have been consolidated and/or rebuilt to improve your overall reporting experience
• New dynamic reporting parameters
• New Audit reporting category
  - Order and Quote audit reports to track any changes made to pricing and other fields
  - Billing audit report to show when invoices or batches are cleared or credited, along with the user who made the changes
  - Ticket audit report to track when tickets are removed from invoices or batches
  ‍
• The Reprint category has been removed. Ticket reprint is now available under the Tickets category. Invoice reprint can be found under Billing.

2. Updates to Order Products and Quote Products

• During Order or Quote setup, you can now add multiple versions of the same product on the same location and yard. Each of these versions can have differing unit price, hauler/freight rate, surcharge, etc.
  ‍
• A new Pricing Description field has been added to the order product setup screen, where you can make notes to help differentiate between versions of a product.
  ‍
• A new Hauler field has been added to the order product setup screen. Establishing a specific hauler makes the order product available for ticketing only on trucks belonging to the corresponding hauler.

3. Changes to the Resources Menu

We've redesigned our resources menu to include two new sub-menus: Products and Billing

• Under Resources >> Products, you'll find Products & Pricing and Product Categories
• Under Resources >> Billing, you'll find Tax Codes, Pay Terms, and our new optional Price Adjustments add-on (more on that below)

4. NEW - Tax Groups

By establishing a Tax Group under Resources >> Billing >> Tax Codes, you can set the tax group at the order product level, which allows your scale operators to select tax codes from the group while ticketing. See video below for a full walk-through.

5. NEW - Price Adjustments

With Price Adjustments, you can easily establish product pricing adjustments and add them to order products.
‍Note: This is an optional add-on feature. Please contact us if you'd like to add Price Adjustments to your Fast-Weigh subscription. 

• Price adjustments can be set up using multiple methods of adjustment calculations.

• Up to three price adjustments can then be applied directly to an order product.

6. NEW - Direct Integration with Command Alkon's Connex and BuildIt Platforms

The Fast-Weigh team is pleased to announce new direct integration between Fast-Weigh and Command Alkon’s Connex and BuildIt platforms. With this new feature, Fast-Weigh users can automatically integrate their ticketing data with BuildIt or Connex in real time, allowing their customers who use these systems to access their Fast-Weigh data instantly.
